You make the work. We handle the listings, the buyers, the postage and the admin on the UK's biggest marketplaces — and you carry on making.
The idea
Most independent makers sell through a single channel — a workshop site, a craft fair, an Etsy shop. It works, but it reaches the people already looking for you.
Marketplaces reach everybody else. They also demand constant attention: listings, item specifics, photographs, pricing, messages, postage settings. That's a second job, and it isn't the one you trained for.
So we do it instead.
You make it. We'll find who wants it.
How it works
A handful of pieces to begin with, and the trade price you want for each — usually the ones already selling well for you.
Written, categorised and priced properly, starting from your own photographs and words.
We send you the order and a prepaid postage label. You pack it, stick the label on and drop it off.
Your trade price, in full, every time one sells. We handle the buyer from first question to last.
The terms
Your work stays in your workshop until the day it sells.
Tell us the trade price you would give any shop stocking your work. That is what you receive on every sale, with nothing deducted — no fees, no commission, no percentage.
Keep every channel you already have. We're an addition, never a replacement.
No notice period and no contract to unpick. Say the word and we take the listings down.
We sell your work as yours, and we say who made it. Every listing credits the workshop.
We buy and send you the label. You never pay to ship, and you never work out what a courier will charge.
The work
Pieces with a clear use, made properly, at a price people will pay online. Garden and outdoor work, personalised pieces, textiles, ceramics — if it's made by hand in Britain, it's worth a conversation.
These are examples of the categories we work in, not pieces we currently sell. As makers join us, their own work replaces them here — with their names on it.
Honestly
Coppice & Co is a small British business just starting out. We're not going to claim a client list we haven't earned.
What we will say is this: it costs you nothing to try, there is nothing to sign, and if it brings you no sales you've lost an email and a conversation. We think that's a fair offer — and we'd rather earn the second maker by doing right by the first.
We'll tell you honestly whether we think it will sell, and what we'd list first. No pitch, no pressure, no follow-up emails if you'd rather not.
